What are the main areas

of responsibility for

school councils?

 

1) Assist in the identification of the educational needs of the students attending the school

2) Make recommendations to the principal for the development, implementation and assessment of the curriculum accomodation plan

3) Review of the annual school budget

4) Assist in the preparation of a student handbook setting forth the rules pertaining to the conduct of students

5) Formulation of a school improvement plan
