Dear Ford Middle School Families,

I am excited about my new appointment at the Ford Middle School.  Our teaching staff is committed to providing a positive learning environment that reflects high district and state standards.  In addition to these academic standards, we strive to develop qualities that enable students to become responsible citizens in our society.  Students are expected to conduct themselves in a positive manner and show respect for self and others. Together we encourage each child to aspire to his/her highest potential in a safe environment.

As an instructional leader I strive to provide the necessary support for staff, students, and parents that will promote each student’s academic achievement. Our students must be prepared to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world that is increasingly more complex. We are doing an extensive amount of work to identify students needing extra help or direct instruction in several areas. Students are being asked to meet higher standards academically and more importantly, to demonstrate proficiency in meeting those standards.

I look forward to getting to know all the children in the classrooms and talking to them in the lunchroom and hallways.   My door is always open to members of our school community; if you have any concerns or news to share, please contact me.
