Per School Committee Policy DN - SCHOOL PROPERTIES DISPOSAL PROCEDURE, ...if the School Committee votes to dispose of the supply, the Business Manager shall, at a minimum, post the list of items in the Town Clerk's Office and on the School District Website...for ten calendar days in order to potentially sell the supply. If there is no interest in purchasing the items, then the Business Manager shall determine the most advantageous method of disposal, which may include donation to a charitable organization that has received a tax exemption from the United States by reason of its charitable nature.
