Second-grade students have been reading to Sunny, our emotional support animal, since the beginning of the school year. We began this initiative when we read how this practice has improved reading skills and helped students develop better attitudes towards reading Nearly every second-grade student has read with Sunny, and she has been enjoying every minute!
