A big thank you to PJ Keating for being such a wonderful community partner to our Acushnet students! Today’s presentation, “Rocks Build Our World,” taught our 4th grade Wildcats all about aggregates — the rocks and minerals that help build the world around us.
Students were amazed to learn that aggregates are used to create schools, roads, hospitals, and even everyday items like makeup and sunscreen! It was an engaging, hands-on learning experience that connected science to the real world in such a meaningful way.

Join us on Friday, October 31st, at 9:30 AM for our annual Vocabulary Parade!
Students will dress in a costume paired with a vocabulary word sign to show off their learning in a fun and creative way.
Reminders:
• Parade route will begin outside the main entrance
• Some areas may be blocked for traffic/parking
• Costumes should be easy for students to put on independently
• No weapons, blood, scary elements, face paint, or full-face masks
• No inflatables

Ms. Corey’s class took on a STEM challenge, “Save Fred”—a teamwork activity where students used only paperclips to get their gummy worm, Fred, safely into his life preserver and back into his boat.
