Science fun in pre-school! Our littlest Wildcats tested whether snow feels colder with bare hands or "bear claws" (gloves made of Crisco). They were amazed to discover they could barely feel the cold through their bear claws! This simple experiment helped them learn about hibernation and how winter animals stay warm. Seeing their surprised faces when they made this discovery was priceless!

Literary critics in the making! Our AES students participated in the 2025 Wildcat Caldecott program, where they weren't just learning about award-winning picture books - they cast their own votes! After exploring beautiful illustrations and engaging stories from this year's Caldecott finalists, including "Millie" and "Roar, Choo!", students thoughtfully evaluated each book and submitted their ballots. What a wonderful way to develop critical thinking skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for literature and art. We're so proud of our young readers for taking an active role in this special literary tradition!

Our Wildcats enjoyed a wonderful performance of "The Snow Queen" by the New Bedford Ballet! The gymnasium came alive as local dancers shared this classic tale through beautiful movement, colorful costumes, and engaging storytelling.
